Job: Key Account Manager

Report Line: Sales Director, Greater China
Responsibility:
- Pre Sales and Marketing:

- Monitor competitors' activities through clients feedbacks.
- Sales:

- Sell to existing customers
-
- Conduct or participate in client interviews process
- Meeting, entertaining existing clients and handle their queries or issues
- Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
- Sell to prospective customers

- Gathering information on prospective clients and solicit new business
- Conduct or participate to prospective clients interviews
- Meeting, entertaining prospective clients and handle their queries or issues
- Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
- Manage key accounts (Manage the corporate head office and the preferred hotel history for that company)

- Conduct or participate in client interviews process
- Meeting, entertaining key accounts clients and handle their queries or issues
- Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
- Develop and maintain contact with business generators (MICE planners, travel agents...) - third parties sales
- Promote Group offers through fairs and conferences, in professional and industry groups
- Prepare tactical offers based on clients’ requirements.
- Functional Support and Fulfillment:

- Update Delphi after meeting with clients.
- Ensure clients’ information is updated accurately and timely in the Delphi system.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business or Hospitality Management.
- Sales experience preferably with one year in a multi-unit capacity.
- Experience in dealing with international and regional clients and promoting multi hotel brand and destinations would be preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
- Strong client management, problem solving and organization skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of Group products, rates and marketing programs.
- Good PC skills.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers’ senior management.
