Job: IT Application Technical Project Manager – Asia Pacific

Location: Shanghai

Report Line: Head of Application

Responsibility:

• Understand and follow up group process for technical projects, such as obsolescence and decommission.
• Lead coordination of technical projects within Asia SI across domains, and present the status to group and zone management team.
• Trouble shooting/diagnosis for major technical issues within Asia SI.
• Contribute to digital projects and design.
• Support tech team on other activities, such as BI, EAI, DevOps and Mobile.

Requirements:

• Solid experiences on project management, or team management with exposure to internal/external customers, with hands on development skills in J2EE, Python, HTML/CSS/JavaScript (At least one of them).
• Proven experience on trouble shooting, in presentation layer (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), application layer (Java, Python), and persistence layer (MS SQL Server/Oracle tuning).
• Practical knowledge on software development such as modeling, application integration and database logical design & programming.
• Good communications skills and the ability to work well with different stakeholders.
• Strong learning capability and good adaptability.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities and work well under 
pressure.
• Experience in cloud computing, mobile, BI and EAI is preferred.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum, DevOps is preferred.
• University degree in Computer Science or other engineering field.
• 5+ years software development experience with 4+ years of project 
management or team management.
• Speak fluent English (and Chinese if possible)
• Pro-activity and strong communication skills relating to active listening, 
probing, change management and influencing are required.
