Job: New Product Development Manager

Location:  Wuxi

Report Line: Marketing Director

Responsibility:

  • Work with marketing Director to identify business opportunity via fully understanding marketing landscape.
  • Incorporating marketing landscape, Consumer insights and category know how and Bridging what is needed from consumer to what is possible from technical side and be able to define product portfolio.
  • Utilize market and consumer research tools to define the target customer group through following activities: Market study, segmentation, targeting and positioning
  • Work with product manager, technical team to define the product specification and assess the product feasibility from technical, cost and go to market capability.
  • Lead product marketing team to define the product positioning and conduct consumer test to validate the b product concept.
  • Assess the business potential by running volume forecast test to assess the business return and business investment and provide to management the business risk.
  • Able to define the product launch model if needed with test market and lead market to validate business risk before the full launch.
  • Lead the product roll out nationally and able to expand the business model to other geography.
  • Lead the consumer and market research team and enhance data based decision making process and Set up consumer and market research data library.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years Experience in marketing, branding and new product launch skill
  • Marketing research is plus
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree. Business Administration would be beneficial
  • Leadership and initiative taking

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Team-working and self-motivated
  • Willing to understand technical depth
  • Willing to interact with consumers
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English
