Incumbent manages and directs the DPES defined value stream operations management. In this function, he/she is primarily responsible for supervising manufacturing activity.
Incumbent also manages the designated DPES Work Standards.
He/she must assure product quality, improve production efficiency, reduce cost and assure health & safety and customer satisfaction, facility maintenance, implement key metrics management and internal audit to support the Line plans and activities undertaken to achieve our DPES mission and goals.
Manage the overall operations management and insure timely fulfillment of customer’s requirement and product quality.
Develop, review and update policies and work standards that support the attainment of the DPES Mission and Goals.
Actively participate in the management of policies, work standards, operations, cost control, management/employee relationships, quality and health and safety.
Actively develop and promote the DPES Action Plan for Excellence Assurance.
Insure the Operations department effectively serves the needs of all DPES customers.
Cross function with other internal departments and external sources, to resolve both issues and conflicts that form barriers to the attainment of Value Stream Operations related issues and our DPES Mission and Goals.
Manage all Value Stream Operations activities.
Assure Operations Production efficiency.
Assure Operations Product quality and customer satisfaction & Quality improvement.
In charge of Key matrices management.
In charge of Operations in Cost reduction & Continuous Improvement.
In charge of Facility Maintenance.
Hire, terminate, discipline, evaluate performance and authorize overtime for subordinate.
Provide training and cross-training for staff and develop subordinates.
Assure adherence to all DPES Work Standards.
Develop subordinates capabilities to meet position requirements.
Develop self-capabilities to meet position requirement and PBP.
As a member of the DPES Management Team, always set the highest level of expectation on any health safety or environment related issues.
Coach subordinates to follow the Company EHS policies.
Prevent waste materials, stationery, water, and electricity and protect nature.
Requirements:
University level degree in Science, Mechanical, Electronic or Management.
8+ years of manufacturing manager related work experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with both internal and external personnel.
Good writing skills to provide written DPES Work Standards and instructions.
Good analytical skills to insure timely collection and analysis of Operations data.
Managerial, supervisory and team building skills to direct and lead staff.
Good training skills to conduct training programs.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to establish and maintain a budget.
Computer, network and software skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Manager.
Ideal candidate would possess Chinese and English language skills, excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with both internal and external personnel.
Specialized courses relating to operation management and ISO 9000, QS9000 and VDA6.1.
