Job: National Retail Operations Manager
Location: Shanghai China
Reports To: Brand Manager
Responsibility:
Retail business development, planning & budgeting:
- Work with BM to formulate the retail strategy based on market analysis, obtain approval and execute in given timeframe;
- Work with group retail dept. team to search and evaluate proper location for corporate stores;
- To formulate the annual budget and forecasts for the whole retail , revise it when necessary;
- CER preparation and follow up approval process
Achieve sales target:
- Lead the entire retail team to achieve the overall sales objective and control the expense at the same time to make sure the P&L in a profitable level
- Develop the VIP customer management system;
- To initiate, plan and oversee the execution of the marking event program with closed budget monitoring and evaluation
- Ensure the quality of customer service
Retail Operation Management:
- Develop company Standard Operation Procedures( SOP) and guideline ;
- Guide and monitor the implementation of the SOP in all corporate stores and work for eventual extension to franchisees;
- Update and improve the SOP when necessary
Team Management:
- Be responsible for staff recruiting and selection
- Take responsibilities of performance management by setting goals and objectives and manage the expectations at the same time
- coach and motivate the team with trainings so as to obtain the sales and non-sales objective of the operation
- People development and retention of the staff
- Design and implement effective incentive scheme and update it when necessary
Requirements:
Industry / domain.
At least 6 years “Luxury sector” retail experience with management responsibilities.
Necessary Knowledge and Experience to be able to do the job:
- Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Good personnel management and well organized and logical thinking
- High quality presentation/representative of the luxury sector image
- Team player, self-motivated and patient with good coordination skill
Education and Certification Requirements:
- College degree or above with equivalent experience
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Good skills in using Microsoft office
