Proactively troubleshoots and resolves technical issues that arise during an implementation
Provides onsite support as needed throughout the project
Performs the initial install of the application and subsequently trains the customer on the install process
Works with appropriate customer team members to implement interfaces with external systems
Works with appropriate MA personnel to develop and test interfaces between multiple products
Works with the off-shore technical team to resolve product issues or identify solutions to implement client requirements
Participates in training and provides training to new employees
Primary activities include configuration, testing, issues resolution, implementation and post implementation support. A majority of the consultant’s time is spent onsite working directly with the customer project team
Performs testing of client specific enhancements in a timely manner
Analyses and resolves issues that arise throughout the implementation. Works with analysts to resolve technical issues
Participates in training to enhance skills necessary to be a valuable team member
Assists with practice administrative tasks (time and forecast entry)
Understands fundamental concepts and theories of warehousing
Possesses and applies broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of a particular product or platform to the completion of moderately complex assignments
Gains experience primarily in one Manhattan product or platform to begin with
Minimum of 50% travel required
Minimum Requirements:
2 years of post-bachelor’s experience in software related technical field
1 year of experience developing SQL Queries
Adheres to departmental processes and procedures
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field or related work experience
Customer oriented, self-motivated and team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
Excellent time management and prioritising skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience in CORE JAVA
Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and some familiarity with standard J2EE Design Patterns (hands-on working experience will be a plus)
Good Knowledge and hands on development experience on different databases especially Oracle
Proficient in Writing/Understanding PL/SQL objects like stored procedures, triggers
Knowledge on various Application servers including WAS, WLS and JBoss
Exposure to AJAX, JSF, Struts, Springs, Hibernate is nice to have (Hands-on working experience would definitely be a plus)
Exposure to version control tool- GIT is preferable
Quick learner with strong interest in learning new products and solutions
